DAY 1

Haldi/Mehendi

A haldi mehendi event is a lively pre-wedding celebration that blends tradition with a relaxed, festive atmosphere. Friends and family gather to apply henna in intricate designs on their hands and feet, while a turmeric paste is gently applied to the couple as a symbol of blessing, good health, and a natural glow before the wedding. The setting is filled with music, laughter, and bright colors, creating a warm and joyful space where everyone comes together to celebrate and build excitement for the wedding ahead. 

The location is an ancient traditional Telugu home turned into a courtyard for celebrations, we will serve light cocktails and traditional Telugu meals on banana leaves.

DAY 2

Sangeet & cocktails

A sangeet is a lively pre-wedding celebration centered around music, dance, and bringing both families together. Friends and relatives perform choreographed dances, sing, and take part in lighthearted performances for the couple, often with a mix of traditional and modern music. The atmosphere is energetic and festive, with plenty of laughter, colorful outfits, and shared moments that help break the ice between families while building excitement for the wedding. Be ready to dance !

The location is a modern outdoor venue and the theme will be Hyderabadi Nizami. We will serve drinks and cocktails with Hyderabadi and Mughlai food.

Dress code

bring on the bling and shine, lehengas or shararas for women, bandhgala or sherwani for men, don’t forget comfortable footwear (jodhpuris for example)

DAY 3

Telugu wedding ceremony

A Telugu wedding is a traditional Hindu ceremony where family members and priests guide the couple through customs such as blessings, sacred vows, and symbolic acts that represent unity and commitment. The atmosphere is respectful yet celebratory, with vibrant attire, traditional music, and the presence of extended family, all coming together to mark the beginning of married life.

The location is an outdoor resort overlooking sunset on the Osman Sagar lake. We will serve multi cuisine snacks and meals.
